We have a number of programs up and running now in 2017 and are very excited to have many new members with our community.

  • Kung Fu – Mondays & Thursdays
  • Watercolour Painting – Tuesdays starting April 4, 18, 25; May 2, 16, 23, 30.
  • Gentle Yoga (drop-in) – Tuesdays, March 21, 28; April 2, 16, 30.
  • Dart Night – Wednesday, March 22
  • Scrap Book Craft Retreat – Friday and Saturday April 21 – 22
  • Cribbage night – Wednesday, April 26

This year’s 50+ Easter Dinner will be held on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017.  Doors open at 5:30, dinner served around 6:00pm.  Enjoy us for a beautifully prepared dinner by your Board of Directors, visit with your neighbours and win some wonderful door prizes.

BOTTLE DRIVE – Saturday April 29, 2017 – Volunteers will be coming door-to-door to collect bottles for our Softball Program. You can put bottles on your front door step and a volunteer will pick them up or if you are able to drop bottles off at the hall, please do so before 3:00 pm. If you are able to donate your time or your bottles, it would be much appreciated.  Thank you for your support! Check out our Softball page for more information.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – we have a number of positions available. If you are interested in joining a fun and eager group of individuals to help keep your community league vibrant, please contact Janice at 780.984.8555.

50+ Easter Dinner

Please join us at the hall on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 for our annual 50+ Easter Dinner! This event is prepared and served by our Volunteer Board of Directors, and includes all the trimmings (along with some wine), in order to celebrate all of our fine population over the age of 50. Free for members, $5 for non members. Doors open at 5:30pm, Dinner is served at 6:00pm-ish. Please RSVP to 780.484.4646 by Saturday, April 1, 2017.

All High Park Community Residents are encouraged to attend.
Hear the annual reports. Ask questions. Let your name stand for a position.  Vote. Socialize.
Positions up for election: Vice President, Treasurer, Sports, Facility Maintenance, Hall Rentals and Program Directors. Hope to see you there.

Benefits of your High Park Community League Membership include: free High Park Community events, the ability to enroll your children into community-based sports like soccer and baseball, and 5 free swims at most of the City of Edmonton recreation centres.

Cost: Membership costs are as follows: – $25 for a family membership; $15 for a single membership; $5 for seniors.
