Preschool

 

The High Park Preschool is a parent cooperative program. Parental involvement is necessary and critical to the success of the program. With your participation, we can also keep tuition costs to a minimum.

Philosophy
The Preschool incorporates a learning through play philosophy. It provides a setting where children can develop their social, physical, emotional, and cognitive skills. Our program offers your child the freedom of expression, creativity, and encourages real life experiences. The Preschool is secular and acknowledges Halloween, Christmas, and Easter using crafts, stories, and songs.

Times of Operation
Three year old class – Tuesday & Thursday mornings 9:00 am to 11:30 am
Four year old class – Monday, Wednesday, & Friday mornings 9:00 am to 11:30 am
Field trip days and times may differ from above.
Statutory holidays will be the same as the Edmonton Public School system. Teacher Development days are the exception.

Call Paula at  780-242–2124   or email them at president@highparkcommunity.com about availability of spaces. Children must be potty trained. Our teacher, Paula Smith, has successfully completed her Level 2 Early Childhood Development Certification. Her commitment is to help each child learn, play and grow through the year, helping to prepare them for the next step in their education.

Registration

You need to bring your child’s Birth Certificate, AB Health Care number, and a copy of Immunization Record, also please bring a picture of your child. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, money order or bank draft.

Fees
30 months – 3 years-old = $625

3 years-old and over = $725
